traverse() — removed, use trans()
traverse() no longer exists. It is not in the parser, there is no module
behind it, and a score containing one is silently ignored.
It predates the current DSL. What this page used to document was the old
underscore-delimited syntax, from before cues were written as
name(key:value) at all:
cue_traverse_p(p1,p2,p3)_o(dot)_s(1.5)_x(1)
Use trans() instead
trans() does the same job — move an object between points — in the current
language, and rather more besides:
trans(uid:mover, to:[p1, p2, p3], dur:2, mode:loop, ease:easeInOutQuad)
old traverse() |
now |
|---|---|
p(p1,p2,p3) list of point ids |
to:[p1, p2, p3] — element ids or literal [x,y] pairs |
o(objectId) the object to move |
the cue sits on the object itself |
s(speed) pixels per second |
dur: seconds per leg, and it can be a pattern or a follow() |
d(0|1|2|3) direction |
mode:once / loop / alternate |
x(repeats) |
mode:loop; loop counts are infinite by default |
e(0–9) easing index |
ease:easeInOutQuad — anime.js names, or a list per waypoint |
h(holdMs) |
hold: seconds at each arrival |
_next(cue) |
still available on o2p() as next: |
