Oscilla

Open-source, browser-based software for animated graphic notation and for live coding audio and visuals, built on Web Audio and SVG. Two applications share one engine and one cue language.

Oscilla Score

Animated graphic scores. The notation is SVG, drawn in Inkscape or any editor, with cues embedded in its elements: animation, path following, timing, audio and video playback, synthesis, OSC output. A playhead scrolls or pages through the score, and a local server keeps the performers' devices synchronised over WebSockets.

Oscilla Live (olive)

Live coding of audio and visuals in the browser. Synthesis, sample playback and audio input run on Web Audio; each sound is drawn as an animated scope (waveform, polar, phase, X/Y, ridge, spectrum); shapes, text, images, the camera and stage effects are driven by audio analysis, camera motion, patterns and a beat clock. No installation.
